Measured Building Surveys

Over the last few months we have completed a number of large scale measured building surveys throughout the Midlands, including a country estate dating back to the domesday book and a house built around the mid 16th century.
These surveys were undertaken by traversing throughout the buildings - using Trimble and Nikon Total Stations - floor by floor, with a mixture of reflector and reflector less observations. Leica Disto and hand taping were used to fill in the finer details.

Breaking the Ice

Despite the recent severe cold wheather, this hasn't stopped Invar from getting the job done. During a recent job for Hydrologic Consultants, at Llanfyllin, the river being surveyed had frozen over by the weir. The ice was that thick, our surveyor had to use a sledge hammer to break through it, to get to the detail below.
West Midlands Safari Park

We have continued our good relationship with West Midlands Safari Park - famous for its white Lions and Tigers - and delivered the latest update to their survey of the safari trail, leisure park and estate. The survey includes the new Indian Rhino enclosure, Tree Tops Pavilion and the update to Spring Grove House.
Broadband switch

We are currently switching our Broadband for one of our offices from AOL to Plusnet. AOL in their 'wisdom' have been unable to resolve our connection problems at this office for over a month, leaving that office without broadband for the whole of this period. Today they have prematurely shut down our invarmapping@aol.com email. Please make sure all future email is sent via our contacts page or via info@invarmapping.co.uk.
