PRECISE LEVELLING

If you are looking to know the relative difference in height between two or more points on the ground, a levelling survey could be what you need. All measurements are taken in relation to a known base point or benchmark, which we can provide to Ordnance Survey National Grid co-ordinates via our top of the range GPS/GNSS system. We can also establish points at a known level, which is handy on building sites to establish a datum or when installing flood monitoring gauge boards, for example.

Using a levelling instrument and staff, we use either the Height of Collimation or Rise and Fall methods to perform the task at hand and to provide accurate, self-checking levelling on-site. Detailed reports can follow, showing the difference in height between all points, their relative rise and fall and their corrected level on-ground.
